Supported scope

Discount Doctor performs a read-only configuration preflight for one selected Shopify-native discount. It predicts named rejection scenarios and shows the configuration evidence behind each finding. It does not execute a cart or prove checkout success.

Reviewed definitions

• native basic amount or percentage discounts;
• native buy-X-get-Y discounts; and
• native free-shipping discounts.

Configuration the report can inspect

Dates and Shopify status, exposed total usage, purchase type, minimum subtotal or quantity, product/variant/collection scope, BOGO quantities, discount combinations, and free-shipping destination configuration.

Deliberate boundaries

• App-managed or unrecognized discount definitions are Unsupported.
• Exact customer eligibility and market membership are not inferred.
• Shipping application remains Unknown without an eligible delivery allocation.
• A Warning means configuration appears compatible; it is not a Pass or checkout guarantee.
• Buyer identity, address, cart contents, checkout state, other discounts, Shopify Functions, and other apps can change the real outcome.
